I had been looking forward to this session all week, a chance to see this little guy again. He was one of my baby planners and after they graduate I kind of miss seeing them so often. Here he is almost 2 years old and he has grown and changed so much. We had a fun afternoon and did a few different things but I am pretty sure this set with his mama are my absolute favorites from today, possibly some of my all time favorite client images ever. Parents are often hesitant to be in front of the camera with their children, I know I am but these are the kinds of images I know I treasure most and I hope they will too…

The way he is looking at his mommy who was singing to him in this picture completely melts my heart…

I feel so unbelievably blessed and lucky to now be shooting the siblings of babies that I photographed as newborns not so long ago, it truly is an honor. This big sister is still featured on my site as a newborn but look at the beautiful little person she has become and the tiny blessing that will undoubtedly become one of her very best friends…

I was so happy to hear that this beautiful family was welcoming another baby into their lives. They are truly blessed with these two precious babies…

I might have to come back and share a few more from this session later but for now wanted to get something up quick for mom and dad and to wish everyone a safe and happy day tomorrow.

It has been almost 9 months since I last saw this little friend of mine. I had the pleasure of meeting him at only 6 days old and I have truly enjoyed watching him grow up into the busy little toddler that he is today. What a joy it was today watching him explore and hearing his little voice repeat so many words… wow, they just grow up TOO FAST!

This sweet three month old gave me lots of smiles but when she was done she was out and we got a nice set of sleepy pictures as well. There really isn’t anything more precious than a peaceful sleeping baby.

Got together with a special photographer friend last night. Angela always graciously entertains my crazy requests to shoot me with my baby girl and I jumped at the chance to return the favor. We were quite the sight trying to stay glamorous while shooting for each other mean while keeping track of two little girls and a baby. A circus indeed but when she posted this for me last night I was blown away and the chaos of the evening was well worth it. I hope she loves at least one of these as much as I loved what she did for me…
