This tiny peanut was so very wanted and loved before she even arrived it was a joy to see her parents bursting with pride to show her off. It was my pleasure to spend some time with her today to capture her brand “newness”. Don’t let the series of awake shots fool you, that was a very brief peek at her eyes. She was an absolute angel and slept straight through for about 2 hours.

It has been a long streak of new baby boys for me lately it was fun to pull out some of the girlie stuff for a change. This little peanut was one of the most happy and alert newborns I have ever met. At only 9 days old she was afraid she might miss something if she slept too long but we waited her out and go a nice variety of sleepy and awake shots.

This little man was very serious when we met up. Turns out the poor guy was cutting a tooth that must have been bothering him. He made me work but was so very sweet.

I was so excited to get to see this guy on his actual birthday. His party was the day before so he knew exactly what to do with the cake without a moment of hesitation. Happy Birthday!!!

I had to share at least one tonight. I got tons of smiles from this sweet baby girl tonight but this one, this shot just might be my favorites from the night. It reminds me so much of that same little face I saw when I first met her at 4 months old. LOVE LOVE LOVE watching them grow!

I had the best time meeting with this family last weekend. They are truly blessed to be welcoming another sure to be beautiful baby into their family. Just as I suspected before I even asked… big sister is hoping for a baby sister and soon to be big brother thinks the baby will be a baby brother- too cute! I will eagerly be awaiting the arrival of this surprise baby.

My streak of meeting baby boys continues and boy was this guy cute. Only 8 days in and his parents are completely smitten with this little man. It is such a joy to see first time parents so excited and and in love with their new babies…I love this job.

I get to watch them grow right before my eyes…
I think newborn to 3 months is always the most dramatic difference that I see. It is such a miracle that those tiny little beansprouts I get to meet in that early first week of life can just turn into these tiny little people so fast. This sweet family brought their boy over to show him off at 3 months and it was pure joy to capture him. Enjoy!
